INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP PROJECTS FROM COURSES
THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS I AM MOST PROUD OF BECAUSE THEY SHOW SOME OF MY GREATEST STRENGTHS WHICH INCLUDE VISUAL PRESENTATION AND DESIGN. THE GROUP PROJECTS ALSO DEMONSTRATE THE GREAT TEAMWORK AND COLLABORATIONS I'VE HAD WITH FELLOW STUDENTS.

Group Project * The flats are from WGSN This portion of the project included finding flats or making/sketching our own. Then we had to give our line a title and season. Fabrics, finishes, notions, and colors had to be identified and analyzed for practicality. The link below is our written report with full details.
Individual Project Photoshop and Illustrator for Fashion Majors project which consisted of drawing two flats. The goal was to find top and bottom garments that would challenge us to practice using the tools we had learned up to that point. Additionally, we had to give the project a theme, season, identify and name chosen colors.
Individual Project This was part of the final project for a Photoshop and Illustrator course I took recently. The project included finding an inspiration photo containing colors that went with the concept we had selected as well as finding models in selected colors. I created the board in Photoshop using tools we had learned through out the course and some that I experimented with on my own.
Individual Project This was the main part of the final project for the Photoshop/Illustrator course. The project required that we create a line of four flats in Illustrator, give the line a season and a concept. One had to consider all aspects of the garment aside from the general design/structure for example closures and include the details on the flats. Additionally, drape and texture also had to be demonstrated.
Group Project This project was for a Visual Merchandising and Promotion course that consisted of creating a store from a general category we were assigned (bridal/ formal) from scratch. We had to showcase and utilize the information we had learned throughout the course of the semester. Brand image, merchandise, target market, store fixtures, lighting, atmospherics and much more had to be considered. The link bellow is a Power Point with full details.
Trend Forecasting Final Project This was a group project in which we were to create a forecast of Women's A/W 19/20 based on a specific market segment.
This was an individual project in which students choose a topic relating to the psychological side of dress. I chose to study the youth in how they use dress to give themselves an identity or identify with others.
This was an individual project in which we were to research color trends and create a mood board.
Group Project This mood /inspiration was part of Line Development Project in which we had to identify a dress category, target market and other aspects that go into developing a line. I put the different photos together using PowerPoint.
Individual Project Slacks created in Illustrator.
Dress created in Illustrator.
Individual Project This project focused on finding fashion images on the web that one could locate elements and principles of design on the garments. We had to describe the elements and principles in general and in the garments as well as identify their effect.
Individual Project This was also part of the final project for the Photoshop/Illustrator course. Guidelines were to utilized photos provided to us and put together a collage mood board that went with our selected concept.
Individual Project This was one of the first projects we did in the Photoshop/Illustrator course. Project required finding photos that showed our personal interests and likes to introduce ourselves and get to know other classmates. We had to incorporate a few of the techniques we had learned in Illustrator up to that point such as reducing opacity in Illustrator and typing on a path. I was very proud of the result considering I had not used Illustrator prior to this course.
Group Project This project included researching the brand J.Crew and predicting a possible line that could be launched by J.Crew through research of past seasons and current image at the time. We had to identify a theme for the line, silhouettes, colors, and textiles the line would be developed in.
Individual Project This project from a Textiles class included identifying purchasable goods on the internet that were made of fabrics we had learned in the course. We then had to describe the fabric's structure, material, properties and more.
Individual Project Pattern I created in Illustrator using the pattern making tools.
Individual Project This project included researching predicted colors for the next season and finding an inspiration photo with the colors and images that had the colors within the assigned category. I had been assigned bath textiles.
